One of the funniest sites I’ve come across ina while; full of awesome humour and really amusing illustrations. A must for anyone with a sense of humour.
Choose 3.0 not 2.0
So i spent some time learning the ActionScript language for college; pretty decent language, object orientated; what could go wrong? nothing? exactly, nothing did, it was great, i was stoked and i was more than satisfied with my practiced outcome.
However, the darkness soon came; for i being me, decided to learn ActionScript 3.0, the most up to date version; however i needed to use ActionScript 2.0, the older version; why? who knows, ask the college, ask the university, heck ask Jesus himself; not that the differences aren’t that big, subtle syntax changes and plugin issues were the only things i encountered; however the biggest problem was that online tutorials are 95% aimed at 3.0, nobody uses 2.0; where am i to learn? oh that’s right W3Schools :/ a big ass text book :/ and the shocking notes bequeathed to me on blackboard.
